This spinach smoothie delivers protein to get your day going, and it’s easy to put together! Like many green smoothies, it works well for breakfast or after a morning workout.  It’s also easy to throw in a travel mug and head out the door to start your morning commute.

Simple Protein Spinach Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (30g) baby spinach, lightly packed
  • 1/2 cup (122g) 2% milk
  • 3/4 cup (112g) pineapple chunks, frozen
  • 1/4 (25g) small banana, frozen
  • 1/2 cup (122g) plain 2% Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp honey

Directions

Puree spinach and milk in a high-power blender. Add frozen fruit, yogurt and honey and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass (or travel mug) and enjoy!
